Concert of opera arias "Opera Sounds"

The Motovun Tourist Board invites you to a concert of opera arias "Opera Sounds" which will be held on the main square of Motovun on Saturday, July 2, 2022. starting at 9 p.m.

On the unique stage of Andrea Antico Square, the Music Trio consisting of Lora Pavletić (mezzo-soprano), Kristian Marušić (tenor) and Nada Matošević Orešković (piano) will perform the most famous opera arias and convey the atmosphere from the theater to the heart of the old town of Motovun.

The repertoire includes works by great composers Giacomo Puccini, Giuseppe Verdi, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Gioachino Rossini, Johann Strauss, Gaetano Donizetti and others.

The concert is realized in cooperation with the Italian Community "Andrea Antico" from Motovun and the Municipality of Motovun.

Performing:

LORA PAVLETIĆ, Croatian mezzo-soprano, active conductor of national and international vocal groups and choirs, graduated in opera singing at the Giuseppe Tartini Conservatory in Trieste, where she now attends conducting in the class of prof. A. Martinollia. He studied at the seminars of G. Surijan, M. Zadro, M. Pizzolato a opera, operetta and Lied at the masterclass Academie Vocalis with C. Ludwig. Since 2016, she has been collaborating as a soloist with Beata Vergina's Capella musicale, where she performs and builds an enviable repertoire of religious music. In Mozart's opera The Feast of Figaro, she performed in the role of Cherub and sang in Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, Austria, Germany and Sweden.

Today, KRISTIAN MARUŠIĆ is one of the young Croatian tenor hopes. After great success on concert stages in Italy and Croatia, he recorded and performed on Italian TV (Canale 5, RAI1…), these days he is releasing a CD with the most popular opera arias and Neapolitan canzones and has just returned from a tour in Dubai where he is at the EXPO represented Italy performing with the National Conservatory Symphony Orchestra. In addition to studying at the G. Tartini Conservatory in Trieste in the class of prof. Cinzie de Mola, trained at various master workshops (MasterClass by Olga Šober with the final concert at the Croatian National Theater by Ivan p. Zajc from Rijeka; MasterClass by Daniele Barcelona in Trieste and a seminar with conductor Alessandro Vitiello).

NADA MATOŠEVIĆ OREŠKOVIĆ performed as a conductor with the Ljubljana Academic Symphony Orchestra, Slovenian Philharmonic, Slovenian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, Croatian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, performed with Camerata Iabacensis-da Camero Orca di diada Orcia del Mexico Alchestra of Orchestra e del Veneto, Orchestra filarmonica di Udine, Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana di Palermo, Milano Classica and many others throughout Europe. She was the conductor of the Croatian National Theater Ivan pl. Zajc Rijeka, for some time director of the Opera as well as intendant. She started teaching as an assistant to prof. Nanuta at the Music Academy in Ljubljana and then as an assistant professor at the Music Academy of the University of Zagreb.
